Congress To Observe 'Modi Mukti Diwas' Protesting Centre's Emergency Move

After the central government declared 25 June as Samvidhan Hatya Diwas (Constitution Murder Day), all opposition parties attacked the BJP. Congress called it Modi Mukti Diwas.

The central government has taken a big decision and declared 25 June as Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas. Now many opposition leaders including Congress have reacted to this and targeted BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh posted on X and said that the non-biological Prime Minister is once again trying to make a headline full of hypocrisy.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh wrote on Twitter, "4 June 2024 will go down in history as Modi Mukti Diwas for the people of India. Before the decisive personal, political and moral defeat on this day, he (PM Modi) had imposed an undeclared Emergency for ten years. This is the same non-biological Prime Minister who has systematically attacked the Constitution of India and its principles, values ​​and institutions."

Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh further said, "This is the same non-biological Prime Minister whose ideological family rejected the Constitution of India in November 1949 on the grounds that it was not inspired by Manusmriti. This is the same non-biological Prime Minister for whom democracy means only the demo-chair."

Samajwadi Party also opposed this move of the central government. Party chief Akhilesh Yadav posted on Instagram and said, "January 30 should be celebrated as a combined day of Bapu Hatya Diwas and Loktantra Hatya Diwas, because on this day BJP rigged the mayor election in Chandigarh." During this, he asked many questions to BJP regarding Hatya Diwas. He asked about: Woman's honour killing day in Manipur, Hathras daughter murder day,Farmer Killing Day in Lakhimpur, Mother-daughter murder day in Kanpur countryside, Agriculture Killing Day due to three black laws, Examination system murder day due to paper leak, From Agniveer to General Military Recruitment Killing Day, Unemployment kills youth's dreams, Rising inflation is killing the future of common families, Demonetization and implementation of GST resulted in business killing day, Stopping awards like Yash Bharti has led to Hunan Samman-Samman Murder Day, Killing day of social justice by not giving proportional representation to the population, Reservation Killing Day by ending government job opportunities, killing day of old pension, Ballot paper murder day became suspicious instead of removing EVM.
