Dr Bivas Kanti Kilikdar took oath as the third Lokayukta of the state..
Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu administered the oath to the new Lokayukta at Raj Bhavan on Friday afternoon. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, State Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan and officials of various levels were present at the oath taking ceremony. 

Retired Judge and Eminent Educationist is Dr BK Kilikdar.

He succeeded Lokayukta KN Bhattacharya. Taking oath on Friday, the new Lokayukta said that this is such an institution, nothing can be done here alone. Fight against corruption. In that case, the cooperation of the media is necessary. 

He said that the Chief Minister also wants to bring corruption to zero. Corruption is a major disease of society. It is not possible to stand against him alone. It requires everyone's cooperation.
