CPIM Trying To Create Unrest: Tripura BJP Over 12 Hour Bandh

BJP Tripura Pradesh opposed the 12 hours Tripura Bandh on Sunday called by the Left Front. Left Front called this strike protesting the death of its candidate of the upcoming Three-tier Panchayat Polls.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday night BJP Tripura Pradesh said that: 

CPIM trying to create unrest in the state. Our government will take steps to protect the people.

Every death is unfortunate. Police will investigate the death of the party worker of the CPIM.   

CPIM has no base anymore. We will win the Panchayat Polls with huge margin. 

Notable that, Left Front-backed candidate Badal Shilll lost his life  due to political violence. Left Front alleged that BJP backed miscreants attacked on him on the night of July 11. 

They also said that BJP attacked on the party candidates, workers in Rajnagar under South Tripura District while they were going to submit nomination papers.

In protest against this, the Left Front has called for a 12-hour bandh in Tripura on Sunday. 

Convenor of Left Front Narayan Kar made this announcement in a press conference on Saturday evening.
