A brazen daylight Snatching at Ramnagar has sent shockwaves through the city after miscreants snatched a gold chain from a shop owner and fled within seconds. The incident occurred near Crossing No. 2 of Ramnagar 6 Road.

According to the video trending in the social media , two young men arrived in the area on a motorbike. While one remained seated on the vehicle with the engine running, the other entered the shop posing as a regular customer. He engaged the owner in conversation, asking to see various items as if intending to make a purchase. Seizing the moment when the shopkeeper was distracted, the accused suddenly yanked the gold chain from around his neck and rushed out of the store. The duo then escaped swiftly on the waiting motorbike.

The entire episode was captured on the shop’s CCTV camera. Preliminary examination of the footage suggests that the crime was premeditated and executed with calculated precision.

Police have begun collecting CCTV footage from the surrounding area and launched efforts to identify and apprehend the suspects.
