Emergency Service Personnel Working Tirelessly. Need Your Cooperation: CM Manik Saha To Public

Chief Minister of Tripura Dr Manik Saha seeks cooperation from the people of the state to restore all the service as government and administration is working to normal the condition after cyclone Remal.

In a social media post CM Saha appeals that:

Even though the normal public life is a bit disrupted in different parts of the state, the administration is continuing all kinds of efforts.

I salute the Disaster Tackling Team (NDRF), Electricity personnel, Fire department and other emergency services who work tirelessly in this disaster weather. I am requesting the people of all parts to extend their hand to the administration and the government to cooperate until the situation becomes normal.

According to the IMD, the state received an average rainfall of 40.73 mm on Monday while West Tripura district recorded the highest rainfall of 59.50 mm. MBB Airport Director K C Meena said that a total of 11 flights to and from MBB airport here were cancelled on Monday due to cyclone Remal. A flight from Agartala-Delhi was diverted to Guwahati airport as the wind speed was above the normal limit.

On the other hand, NFR has cancelled some trains for Monday and Tuesday. However,  trains have started operating as the conditions have become normal.

However power service in many parts of the the state yet to restore.
