England to Face Spain in The Final of Euro Cup 2024

England have made it to the final of Euro Cup 2024 with a 2- 1 win against the Netherlands in the semi-finals on the back of Ollie Watkins' last minute goal. 

They are going to face three-time champions Spain in the title match. Spain has reached the final by defeating France. 

The day did not start well for England as the Netherlands took the lead in the semi-final with the help of an early goal from Javi Simons. However, they ended the day in style by winning this match 2-1. 

Let us tell you, England have reached the final for the second consecutive time. Last time in 2021, they had to face defeat in the title match against Italy.

After a poor start against the Netherlands, Harry Kane laid the foundation for a comeback. England soon equalised at 1-1 with a penalty from Harry Kane after a VAR call by German referee Felix Zweier, and then Watkins' superb goal in extra time gave them the win.

Gareth Southgate's England side have rarely had a spectacular campaign, but they are through to their second successive European Championship final and dreaming of winning a first major trophy since 1966.

To do so they will certainly have to perform better than any match they have ever played in Germany as they face a very good Spanish team. Spain will also have an extra 24 hours to prepare for the final, as they beat France 2-1 on Tuesday.

The Euro 2024 title match will be played between England and Spain on Sunday 14 July. The final is set to take place at the Olympiastadion Berlin.
