Europian Countries Preparing For Possible War with Russia

In view of the situation of conflict with Russia, European countries are planning to create a nuclear umbrella across the entire continent.

This nuclear security bubble will be created with the help of 300 French nuclear missiles. French President Emmanuel Macron has suggested deploying submarine-launched weapons across the continent to strengthen collective defense.

This offer from his side has been made after a German minister urged Britain and France to build a nuclear shield to stop Russia. European leaders are concerned about the ongoing fighting in Ukraine.

As the war in Ukraine drags on, nuclear threats from Russia are becoming increasingly apparent. Macron said he wanted to start a Europe-wide dialogue about "missile defense and nuclear weapons" in response to Ruhr's attitude

French Prime Minister Gabriel has also been vocal about increasing defense vis-a-vis Russian President Vladimir Putin. He says there is a need for credible European defense and that the current US-led NATO alliance does not provide adequate security.

He says that France is ready to contribute more to the defense of European soil. German Minister Lindner has also said that European security should be reconsidered. The UK and France are Europe's earliest nuclear powers.

Russian TV presenter Dmitry Kiselyov has recently said that if NATO countries deploy their forces in Ukraine to give a strategic defeat to Russia, then we will take any decision. He said that American decision making centers and launch sites are already our target. We will teach a lesson to France and Britain also.

Amidst all this, Macron is suggesting that France's nuclear arsenal of submarine-launched ballistic missiles and air-launched cruise missiles be deployed around the continent. He said I am in favor of starting this debate, which should include missile defense, long-range weapons and nuclear weapons for those who have them or on whose soil American nuclear weapons are located.

The French Navy has developed a submarine-launched ballistic missile, the M51 SLBM, costing an impressive £4.2 billion. This is the weapon Macron is referring to. This missile can carry six to ten thermonuclear weapons.

They are 12 meters long and are fueled by an impressive three-stage rocket. Their estimated range is between 8,000 and 10,000 km. France has its own nuclear strike force. France is the only nuclear power in the European Union, which has not only reactors but also nuclear weapons.
