Explosive Was Hidden Two Months Ago: Report on Haniyeh's Death

After the death of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh, tension has increased significantly in the Middle East Asia region. 

Iran has threatened to attack Israel. At the same time, the Israeli army is continuously carrying out military action in the Gaza Strip. Hezbollah present in Lebanon is also attacking Israel.

Countries like Russia and Turkey have expressed concern over the death of Ismail Haniyeh. However, Israel has not officially accepted that its army has killed the Hamas chief.

Meanwhile, according to a report in the New York Times, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh died in an explosion. The explosive device was hidden two months ago in the guest house in Tehran where Haniyeh was supposed to stay.

The report claimed that when Haniya reached his VVIP residence, he was blasted with the help of a remote key. The report quoted several officials including two members of the Iranian army Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The report further stated that the bomb was smuggled into the guest house. It was claimed that the killer followed Haniya's schedule and found out her whereabouts. 

According to the report, Haniya was staying at an IRGC compound called Neshahat in Tehran. Secret meetings were held in this compound. High profile guests like Haniya were accommodated there.

The time of the accident has also been given in the report. The blast took place at 2 am local time. According to the report, after the bomb blast, a senior Hamas official Khalil al-Haya reached the spot. 

He informed Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei about the incident. Let us tell you that Haniya had reached Iran to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the President.
