Fierce Battle Between Pakistan Army And BLA In Balochistan. 23 Pakistani Soldiers Killed

Major clashes have taken place between the Pakistani army and Baloch rebels in Pakistan's Balochistan province. 23 Pakistani army personnel have been killed in different clashes. The rebel group Baloch Liberation Army said that 9 of its fighters were killed in the encounter. Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) spokesperson Zayed Baloch said in a statement issued by the group that an encounter took place at Goni Para, where its commandos had to be landed via helicopters to help the Pakistani army.

The BLA spokesperson said that clashes broke out with BLA fighters as the Pakistani army advanced in the areas of Mastung on Friday night, June 6. 8 Pakistani army soldiers were killed and many were injured in these clashes that continued till morning. Apart from this, many Pakistani army soldiers were killed in another encounter on June 8. The Baloch spokesperson has also given information about clashes in many other areas.

The fighting between separatist armed groups and Pakistani forces has intensified in Balochistan. Pakistan Army has deployed a large number of soldiers, but despite this, Baloch fighters are gaining the upper hand. Recently, there have been reports of Baloch fighters capturing several cities in Balochistan. The army, enraged by the success of Baloch groups, has started its brutal campaign against civilians in the province. Incidents of disappearances of civilians have once again increased in Balochistan.

Baloch civilian groups have reported that nine people have been forcibly disappeared from two different areas of Balochistan. According to a report by Balochistan Post, security personnel detained two men in Pasni and took them to an unknown location. On Monday morning, Pakistani forces launched a raid and search operation in Dasht Balnigor district of Kech. During this, seven youths were detained and taken to an unknown location.

Enforced disappearances have long been a problem in Balochistan, sparking public anger in the province. Human rights organizations accuse the Pakistani government of targeting civilians, students and political activists without due process or accountability. According to the TBP report, families of the disappeared often report incidents of abductions in broad daylight without warrants or formal charges, leaving them with no legal recourse. Human rights organizations have condemned this.
