Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget in Parliament. Before that, the Union Finance Minister held a meeting with the Finance Ministers of various states as usual.

In the meeting, I have presented a total of 23 demands on behalf of the state.

Finance Ministers of various states presented their views in that meeting. The state of Tripura is mainly dependent on the centre. 23 demands have been made by the state.

These demands include special financial package, establishment of AIIMS-style hospital in the state, double lane railway track, allocation of funds for speedy completion of under construction National Highway, special fund for TTAADC areas and two central schools.

Tripura will be benefited from the proposed budget that the Union Finance Minister will present in Parliament. The financial condition of the state is not very good at present. Standing in that place, special financial package is very important for the state.
