Five Drug Dealers Including Woman Arrested Red Handed From Agartala

Drug business reached in the grassroot level in Tripura where drug dealers are now doing business even in the highly secure zone in Agartala.

Five drug dealers, including a woman,  arrested red handed while buying and selling drug paraphernalia near the area of state civil Secretariat Goalabasti area.

After searching them, the police recovered 400 vial of brown sugar, 3000 empty vial and cash worth Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand 510. The arrested are identified as Lalkishan Roy, Lalbabu Roy, Dharmendra Roy, Rahul Saha and Gariya Devi.

"The NCC police station received information that a large amount of drugs would be bought and sold in the Goalabasti area in Agartala. On the basis of that information, the police conducted an search operation" said Police.

"After searching them, the police recovered 400 vial of brown sugar, 3000 empty vial and Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand 510 in cash. Five drug dealers, including a woman, has been arrested in the raid" police added.
