Flood In Tripura: MP, UP Governments Provides Financial Assistance

Madhya Pradesh government extended financial assistance to the state government in flood situation in Tripura. 

The Madhya Pradesh government has provided financial assistance of Rs 20 crore to the Tripura government. 

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has given this message on social media.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that many states including Madhya Pradesh are affected by heavy rains, floods and landslides. Terrible natural disasters have occurred in Tripura and Kerala for the past few days. The financial loss is massive.

Meanwhile, Tripura Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha thanked the Madhya Pradesh government for this financial support.

Uttar Pradesh government also extended financial assistance to Tripura government in flood situation in the state. 

The Uttar Pradesh government has provided financial assistance of Rs 10 crore to the state government. 

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued a notification and gave this message.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that since August 19, due to heavy rains, the water level of Gomati and other rivers has increased, so there is a dire flood situation in the state of Tripura. Out of the eight districts of the state,  South Tripura, Gomati , Sepahijala , West Tripura, Khowai and Unakoti districts have experienced crisis. There has been a huge financial loss in the state.

"The people and government of Uttar Pradesh stand by the people and government of Tripura in this difficult time. Therefore, financial assistance of Rs.10 crore is being provided to Tripura government for relief and rehabilitation efforts."

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha expressed sincere thanks to the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Uttar Pradesh Government for extending a helping hand to resolve the flood situation in the state.
