Floodlights Corruption: Present Committee Of TCA Placed Deputation To DGP Tripura For Investigation

Allegations of corruption in August 2023 against TCA i.e. Tripura Cricket Association. Some leaders of the then committee were involved in corruption. Then the matter of this corruption reached in the Tripura High Court. 

But the surprising thing is that the accused involved in corruption have not been arrested so far even though the judgment seat of Tripura High Court has been constituted. 

In protest, the representatives of the current committee went to the police headquarters and met the director general of the state police on Monday.

A year and a half is going to pass, why are the accused not arrested till now? The director general of the state police has been asked about that. 

After a long discussion with the Director General of Police, TCA came to know that the matter is under investigation. 

Later, Tripura Cricket Association president Tapan Lodh and other leaders said that a SIT was formed following the Tripura High Court's verdict in August 2023 after the Tripura Cricket Association was accused of corruption. Ignoring all the General Body, the accused were involved in the corruption of some members of the then Committee by tendering the Fadlight. They embezzled crores of rupees in floodlights at MBB ground and Narshingarh  international ground stadium. Later, a case was filed with the police station. But no one has been arrested so far after the formation of the Tripura High Court seat. When the director general of the state police was asked about that, he said that the matter is under investigation. You will see the results in the next few days
