Four Bangladeshi Infiltrators Arrested From Agartala Rail Station

Bangladeshi infiltration is constantly going on in Tripura. Despite vigilance by the Border Security Force, Bangladeshi infiltration yet to be stopped. Crossing the barbed wire fence through brokers  Bangladeshi infiltration in Tripura  become a daily incident. Naturally infiltration become matter of concern for internal security both for the state and the country.

GRP police arrested four Bangladeshi nationals from Agartala railway station. 

OC of GRP Police Station Tapas Das said, police received information from sources that four Bangladeshi nationals will arrive at Agartala railway station. Based on that information GRP raided the railway station. 

At that time four persons were questioned at the railway station as the police suspected them. During police interrogation, they admitted to illegally entering Tripura. 

The arrested are Bangladesh residents Shahidul Islam, Azbar Ali, Mohinur Islam and Akram Haque.

On this day, police also said that a specific case has been filed against them. Police said that the arrested persons are already handed over to the court for remand.
