Haryana Assembly Elections: BJP Releases First List Of 67 Candidates

The BJP has once again fielded former Home Minister Anil Vij from the Ambala Cantonment seat. Bansi Lal's granddaughter and Kiran Chaudhary's daughter Shruti Chaudhary has been given a ticket from Tosham. 

In the 2019 assembly elections, Kiran Chaudhary won from Tosham for the fourth consecutive time. 

The party has cut the tickets of three current and one former minister. Sheeshpal Kamboj has been made the candidate from Rania in place of Power Minister Ranjit Chautala.

Kapoor Valmiki has got the ticket from Bawanikheda in place of Minister of State Bishambar Valmiki. Tejpal Tanwar has got the ticket from Sohna in place of Sports Minister Sanjay Singh and Kamaljit Singh Ajarana has got the ticket from Pehowa in place of former Sports Minister Sandeep Singh. 

Ambala Mayor Shakti Rani Sharma, who joined BJP three days ago, has been made the candidate from Kalka. Aarti Rao, daughter of Union Minister of State Rao Indrajit, has got the ticket from Ateli.

Former MP Sunita Duggal has got the ticket from Ratia seat. In the Lok Sabha elections, her ticket was cut from Sirsa. Former minister Anoop Dhanak, who came from JJP, has been given ticket from Uklana, former minister Devendra Babli from Tohana and Ramkumar Gautam from Safidon. 

Only one player's name is included in the first list. Deepak Hooda has been made the candidate from Meham. 

The Jindal family, which was claiming a ticket from Hisar, has also been given a shock. The current MLA and minister in the Saini government, Kamal Gupta, has again got the ticket from here. Rajya Sabha member Krishan Lal Panwar has once again been made the candidate from Israna by the party
