He Was Under Surveillance By Jharkhand Police: Himanta Hits Champai Soren

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren has joined the BJP, but the politics over him is still hot.

Assam Chief Minister and Jharkhand BJP election co-in-charge Himanta Biswa Sarma has made a big claim about Champai Soren.

He said that his own government had kept an eye on the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand for six months. Along with this, he also said that the 'corrupt' alliance led by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) will get a befitting reply after two months.

This allegation was made by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at a program to induct Champai Soren into the BJP. Champai Soren resigned from the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha on 28 August and joined the BJP. It is believed that Himanta Biswa Sarma has played an important role in bringing Champai Soren into the BJP.

Therefore, when Champai Soren came to Delhi for the second time, he met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the presence of Himanta Biswa Sarma.

The Assam Chief Minister said that Jharkhand Police kept a watch on Champai Soren for six months. I have never heard of this happening with any Chief Minister. I warn you (Chief Minister Hemant Soren) that we will give you a befitting reply after two months. Assembly elections are to be held in Jharkhand this year. It is believed that the Election Commission may announce the dates in the next one or two months.

Himanta Biswa Sarma, calling the current government of Jharkhand corrupt, said that even a strong leader like Champai Soren, who was close to JMM chief Shibu Soren, was not spared. At present, politics has intensified over the statement of the Chief Minister of Assam.

Earlier, the Assam CM had said that the current Jharkhand government has created a situation in the state, every person like Champai Soren who loves Jharkhand wants to bring a BJP government. I understand the feelings of the people of Jharkhand. The trust of the people of Jharkhand along with Champai Soren has been broken
