Highest In Power Play in T20: Australia Score 113 Runs In 6 Overs

Australia defeated Scotland by 7 wickets in the first T20 match. Host Scotland, playing first, scored 154 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, but the Kangaroo team achieved this target with just 62 balls remaining. 

Travis Head hit hard for Australia, who played a blistering innings of 80 runs in just 25 balls. After him, the remaining task was completed by captain Mitchell Marsh, who played a stormy innings of 39 runs.

In this match, Australia won the toss and invited Scotland to bat first. George Munsey scored the most runs for the host team, scoring 28 runs. Captain Richie Berrington contributed 23 and Matthew Cross contributed 37 runs. 

In response, Australia, which came to chase the target, lost the wicket of Jake Fraser McGurk early, but from here Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head made the team's victory easy by raining fours and sixes. Australia achieved the target of 155 runs in just 58 balls.

Jake Fraser McGurk's wicket fell on the third ball of the innings. After that Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head took over the command. 

Together, these two took Australia's score to 113 runs in just 6 overs. This is the highest score made in the powerplay of a T20 International match. March was out on the very next ball after the powerplay on a score of 39 runs. Technically, the pair of Marsh and Head scored these 113 runs in 33 balls.

Travis Head completed his fifty in 17 balls in this match. He has now reached the level of Marcus Stoinis in terms of scoring the fastest half-century for Australia in T20 cricket. Head scored 80 runs in 25 balls. During this innings, 12 fours and 5 towering sixes also came from his bat. 

On the other hand, Mitchell Marsh played only 12 balls in his innings, out of which 8 reached the boundary line as he also hit 5 fours and 3 sixes
