Humanitarian Disaster in Gaza. Will Not Be Silent: Kamala Haris

She expressed concern over the humanitarian disaster in Gaza, in which a large number of civilians are dying.' Kamala Harris clearly said that she cannot turn away from the troubles of the people in Gaza.

Kamala Harris said, 'I have said this many times, but it is important to repeat it. Israel has the right to defend itself, but how it does it matters. Hamas is a brutal terrorist organization. On October 7, Hamas started this war by killing 1,200 innocent people, including 44 Americans. Hamas committed sexual violence and took 250 people hostage, including American citizens. American citizens are still hostages in Gaza.'

Regarding her meeting with Netanyahu, Kamala Harris said that she expressed her grave concern with Prime Minister Netanyahu over the deaths of civilians in Gaza. Harris said, 'I expressed my grave concern about the dire humanitarian situation there. More than 2 million people are facing a serious food crisis, and five million people are on the verge of starvation. What has happened in Gaza in the last nine months is devastating.'

Kamala Harris said, 'Images of dead children and desperate, hungry people, who are running here and there for safety, people are sometimes being displaced for the second, third or fourth time. We cannot turn a blind eye to these tragedies and I will not be silent about it. "

Harris said that 'an agreement has been reached for a ceasefire and hostage agreement. The first phase of the agreement will try to bring about a complete ceasefire, including the withdrawal of Israeli forces from populated areas in Gaza. In the second phase, the Israeli army will completely withdraw from Gaza and this will lead to a permanent end to hostilities.'

US Vice President and now presidential candidate Kamala Harris said that 'the time has come to end this war, and it should end in such a way that Israel is safe, all hostages are released, the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can exercise their right to freedom, dignity and self-determination. Talks are moving forward in a hopeful manner to agree on this deal
