Bangladeshi edible oil is being sold illegally in the market keeping the administration asleep.
Such information has come out in the operation of Sadar Sub-Divisional Enforcement Team in Maharajganj Bazar, Agartala on Monday
On this day, Food Controller Pradip Bhowmik said that on the basis of secret information, the Sadar Mahakuma Ruler and the Food Department came to know that edible oil of Bangladesh is being sold illegally in Maharajganj. On the basis of that complaint, a raid was conducted at the shop of the businessman Saikat Pal today. During the operation, officials recovered a large quantity of Bangladeshi edible oil. Could not show the necessary documents to the shop owner. So the shop was closed for the military period. Officials also took away all the documents of the shop.
On this day, he also said that the rice shops were raided. Irregularities noticed in one shop. So that shop has also been temporarily closed. The document will be submitted to the sub-divisional administration. Later, legal action will be taken by the sub-divisional administration
