IND vs AUS 5th Test Day 1: India's 1st Innings Score 185 Run. Australia Ends Day At 9/1

The last Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is being played in Sydney from today i.e. 3 January. 

India won the toss in Sydney and decided to bat first. 

Rohit Sharma was not included in the playing XI. 

Jasprit Bumrah is captaining in his place. India's first innings collapsed to 185 runs on the first day of the Sydney Test.

However Australia also in pressure as it lost 1 wicket as Bumrah gave India its first breakthrough. 

Australia is currently leading 2-1 in the 5-match Test series.

 India started with a win in Perth but Team India had to face 2 big defeats in the next 3 Test matches. 

During this, the Gabba Test was drawn. Now Team India will have to win the Sydney Test at all costs to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and stay in the race for the final of the World Test Championship.
