India Defeated USA by 7 Wickets in T20 World Cup

India defeated USA by 7 wickets in the T20 World Cup 2024 match. India had got a target of 111 runs to win. Which India achieved by losing three wickets in 18.2 overs. 

Suryakumar Yadav scored an unbeaten 50 runs for India, he was well supported by Shivam Dubey. 

Chasing a target of 111 runs, the Indian team lost three wickets at 39 runs at one stage. Virat Kohli could not even open his account in this match and was out on the very first ball. Rohit Sharma also could not last long and became Saurabh's second victim after scoring just 3 runs. 

Earlier, India's captain Rohit Sharma won the toss at the Nassau County International Stadium in New York and asked USA to bat first. USA had a very bad start on the Nassau pitch which is called a bowler's paradise and lost their wicket on the very first ball. 

Jahangir was declared LBW by Arshdeep on the very first ball. Not only this, Arshdeep also gave another blow to USA on the last ball of this over.

Even after this, the USA team could not recover. But the team scored 110 runs with the contribution of some batsmen. This score was not as small as it looked, considering the pitch. S Taylor contributed 24 runs and Nitish Kumar contributed 27 runs from the USA side. 

Arshdeep bowled brilliantly from India's side, giving only 9 runs in his quota of four overs and taking four wickets. Pandya also bowled brilliantly in this match and took 2 wickets giving only 14 runs in 4 overs.

India is now at the top of the points table by winning three out of three matches and India has now reached the Super 8.
