India vs South Africa 2nd T20I Today in Chandigarh

The second match of the five-match T20 series between India and South Africa will be played on Thursday, December 11, at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Maharaja Yadwinder Singh Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh. With India leading the series 1–0 after a convincing win in the first match at Cuttack, excitement is running high among cricket fans in Chandigarh and nearby regions.

Both teams arrived in the city on Wednesday via Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport and later checked into their respective hotels. Interestingly, neither team opted for a practice session ahead of the match.

Cricket lovers will witness several star players in action, including Jasprit “Boom-Boom” Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Abhishek Sharma, and local favourite Shubman Gill. The match is expected to draw a near-capacity crowd, as most of the stadium blocks have already been sold out. Only a few tickets remain available in the Corporate Block.

Adding to the occasion, the stands named after Indian women’s World Cup–winning captain Harmanpreet Kaur and former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh will be officially inaugurated during the match. A special laser show is also scheduled before the start of play, promising a grand spectacle for fans.
