International Museum Day Celebrated in Tripura

Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated a seminar on International Museum Day at the State Museum at Ujjayant Palace on Wednesday.

Inaugurating the seminar, the Governor discussed the importance and impact of the museum in present days.

Emphasizing on making the State Museum more modern in the age of advanced technology, the Governor said that the students will be able to learn more about the rich cultural heritage of Tripura including the North Eastern region through this museum.

The Governor visited various galleries of the State Museum at Ujjayant Palace. 

Tripura State Museum Curator Sampa Midda briefed the Governor about various galleries during the visit. 

Tourism Department Secretary Tapas Roy, Director Tapan Kumar Das and others were present with the Governor during the visit to the State Museum. 

Later Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu enjoyed the light and sound show at Ujjayant Palace.
