IPFT To Submit Memorandum To PM Demanding Tipraland.

The Sixth Schedule Day to be observed on August 23.

 On this day, a memorandum will be submitted to the Prime Minister and the Home Minister on the demand for Tipra land.


This was informed by the IPFT leaders through a press conference on Friday.

The leaders said that in order to protect the existence of the Tiprasa, a memorandum will be submitted to the Prime Minister and the Home Minister of India demanding the promotion of TTAADC into a separate full-fledged Tipraland state in accordance with Article 2 and 3 of the Constitution of India by celebrating the 'Tipraland Demand Day' at Jantar-Mantar in Delhi, the capital of India, on August 23, 2024. 

Notable that IPFT is an ally of ruling BJP in the state government. 

All though IPFT started journey as the opposition party in the state with the demand of separate Tipraland but later it joined the government
