IPL 2024: SRH Beats RR. To Play in Final Against KKR on May 26

Sunrisers Hyderabad has made it to the IPL final for the third time. The team defeated Rajasthan by 36 runs in Qualifier-2 on Friday. 

Hyderabad has reached the final of this league after 6 years. Earlier, the team had reached the final in 2018. 

In the final of this season, Hyderabad will face Kolkata Knight Riders on 26 May.

Rajasthan won the toss and chose to bowl at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. 

Hyderabad scored 175 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Rajasthan could only score 139 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. The team's spinners took 5 wickets, including 3 wickets by Shahbaz Ahmed and 2 wickets by Abhishek Sharma. 

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 42 and Dhruv Jurel scored 56 runs from RR.

For SRH, Heinrich Klaasen scored 50 runs. Travis Head scored 34 runs and Rahul Tripathi scored 37 runs. 

RR's Trent Boult and Avesh Khan took 3-3 wickets. Sandeep Sharma got 2 wickets.
