IPL 65th Match: Punjab Beats Rajasthan

Rajasthan Royals, captained by Sanju Samson, who had qualified for the playoffs,  face defeat by a margin of 5 wickets in the 65th match of IPL  played against Punjab Kings in Guwahati on Wednesday. 

Batting first after winning the toss on a bowling-friendly wicket, Rajasthan scored 144 runs for 9 wickets, thanks to the innings of 48 runs by Riyan Parag and 28 runs by Ravichandran Ashwin. 

In response, Punjab Kings achieved the target of 145 runs to win in 18.4 overs thanks to Sam Curran's unbeaten half-century of 63 runs in 41 balls. 

PThis is the fourth consecutive defeat of Rajasthan Royals.

After this defeat, its chances of being in the top 2 have suffered a setback.
