Islamic Fundamentalists Misleading The Youths. Making Them Anti-India, Jihad: Taslima Nasreen

Famous writer Taslima Nasreen said on Thursday (September 5) that Islamic fundamentalists are misleading the youth and making them anti-India, anti-Hindu, pro-Pakistan and jihad. Due to which she fears that Bangladesh may become another Afghanistan.

She said that when you brainwash the youth in this way, they will become a generation that will be against Hindus, India and women and will be pro-Pakistan, pro-jihad, pro-fundamentalists.

In an interview to PTI, Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen said that when students protested against the quota system in July, we supported them. We are people who believe in women's rights, human rights and freedom of expression.

Writer Taslima Nasreen said that later we realized that this was not a movement of students. It was planned and funded by Islamic fundamentalists. This became clear when they started destroying statues of freedom fighters, museums and national heritage. She expressed concern that Bangladesh could also follow the same path as Afghanistan or Iran.

Taslima Nasreen said that Yunus says that they are celebrating their victory. People are burning the houses of Hindus. What kind of celebration is this? They are destroying everything. This became clear when they started erasing the statues of freedom fighters, museums and national heritage. Whereas the statues related to the Pakistani army, which killed millions of people and raped women during the war, remain intact.

India-based writer Taslima Nasreen said that Sheikh Hasina was a dictator who always promoted fundamentalists and curbed freedom of expression. People were angry with her.

Talking about returning to the South Asian country, Nasreen said that I cannot go back to my country. Khalida and Hasina never allowed me to do so and now it is impossible to imagine it in this jihadist regime.

Taslima Nasreen said that I feel India is like my home and I have been living here since 2005. She said, "The surprising thing is that my residence permit has not been extended and there is no information till now. It expired on 27th July. Usually it is extended before the deadline. I do not understand what to do. I do not know anyone in the government and I do not know anything
