Job Aspirant Youths Demands TET Exam. Stages Demonstration in Agartala

Job aspirants youths once again went to the office of the TRBT in Agartala in an organized manner. In fact they also stages demonstration demanding Teacher Eligibility Test which is stopped since last two years. They talked with the officials of TRBT there regarding this matter.

According to the unemployed youth who are hoping for a job, they came to the TRBT office  to know why the TET exam is not being conducted since last two yesrs. 

Then an official of TRBT told them that a case of NCT is going on in the Supreme Court.
That case was settled in early 2024. Then the TRBT writes to the state government saying that they are ready to take the TET exam, so that the government takes necessary steps accordingly. 

Later government told that the matter will be seen after the Lok Sabha elections. Then the state government was again informed after the election about this issue. But the state government informed that Three-tier Panchayat elections are ahead. So the exam cannot be conducted now. 

But this time  the job seeking youths have drawn the  attention of the government demanding that the state government must conduct the TET exam immediately after the Panchayat election as they are waiting for this since last two years
