Kamala Harri's To Win If Election Held Today: Report

The Washington Post has informed based on the results of its survey that if elections are held in America today, then the Democratic Party's presidential candidate and current Vice President Kamala Harris would be the first choice of the people. 

The American daily newspaper Washington Post said on Thursday, "Since Biden withdrew his name from the election, Harris has gained two percentage points more in terms of popularity at the national level and till Sunday she is seen leading."

The news said, 'If the presidential election were held today, according to our survey, Harris would be the most preferred candidate.' 

According to the newspaper, Harris has taken the lead in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and in Michigan, Trump is ahead of her by less than one percent. The newspaper said, 'According to our survey, if the election were held today and voting takes place in every state according to the previous average, then Harris would be behind Trump in the Electoral College tally. Still, Harris has more chances for the presidency than Donald Trump.'

Former US President Donald Trump has requested the judge in his hush-money criminal case in New York to postpone his sentencing until after the presidential election in November. In a letter made public on Thursday, the lawyer for the Republican presidential candidate suggested that sentencing Trump on the scheduled date of September 18, about seven weeks before election day, would be tantamount to interfering with the election.
