Low-Profile Munir Wedding Attended by PM, President, MBZ

Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir recently solemnised the marriage of his third daughter Mahnoor within his extended family. She was married to Captain Abdul Rehman, the son of Munir’s brother Qasim Munir.

According to reports, the wedding ceremony was held on December 26 in Rawalpindi. The event was kept strictly private, and no official photographs were released to the public.

Captain Abdul Rehman previously served in the Pakistan Army before transitioning to the civil services. He currently holds the position of Assistant Commissioner, having been inducted under the quota reserved for former army officers.

Despite its low-profile nature and limited guest list, the wedding drew the presence of several high-profile dignitaries. Among those in attendance were UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, along with the ISI chief and senior generals of the Pakistan Army.
