Mamata Banerjee Walked Out of The Niti Aayog Meeting

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has walked out of the Niti Aayog meeting in Delhi on Saturday.

After walking out of the meeting, Mamata Banerjee alleged that she was insulted in the meeting. She said that the central government should not discriminate against state governments. She wanted to speak in the meeting but she was allowed to speak only for 5 minutes. People before her spoke for 10-20 minutes.

The West Bengal CM said that she was the only member of the opposition who was attending the meeting but still she was not allowed to speak. This is insulting.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that I was speaking and my mic was switched off. I said why did you stop me, why are you discriminating. I am attending the meeting, you should be happy, instead you are giving more scope to your party and your government. I am the only one from the opposition and you are stopping me from speaking. This is not only an insult to Bengal but also an insult to all the regional parties.

Let us tell you that Mamta Banerjee had demanded to end Niti Ayog in this meeting. CM Mamta Banerjee also told the reason behind this demand. She had said that this Niti Ayog should be closed because it does nothing except calling meetings. Along with this, Mamta Banerjee had demanded to bring back the Planning Commission.
