Man Killed Mother Over Family Dispute in Khowai. Arrested

Man brutally killed his mother hacking her with a sharp knife. The shocking incident takes place in Ratanpur under Khowai District. 

Police arrested the accused murderer son. Besides, the police also recovered the sharp weapon.

According to the report elder son of Parbati Jhara (55) Krishna Mohan started calling to wake up his mother on Wednesday morning but she did not respond. 

Later, through the gap in the door, he finds that his younger brother Haricharan Jhara was sitting in the house after killing his mother. Krishna Mohan got scared after seeing that scene and immediately informed it to Khowai police station.

A large police force including Subir Malakar, OC of Khowai police  station, rushed to the spot. The police broke the door and entered the house. Then Haricaran was arrested and taken to the police station. 

Later, the forensic team went to the spot. Meanwhile, the police recovered the body and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem.

Elder son Krishna Mohan said that his mother used to live in the same house with his younger brother Haricharan. He had an argument with his mother last night about seeing a doctor. Late at night, he killed his mother with a sharp knife. He separated the head from the mother's body. The incident spread a lot of panic in the area.
