Melbourne Test: India In Danger Of Having To Face Follow-On

The Indian team lost the wickets of two set batsmen Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal in the last session. 

Due to which Team India is in trouble against Australia in the Boxing Day Test match. 

In response to Australia's 474 runs in the first innings, India lost 5 wickets for 164 runs in their first innings at the end of the second day's play. 

Yashasvi Jaiswal was run out after scoring 82 runs, while Virat Kohli was sent to the pavilion by Scott Boland on a personal score of 36. Jaiswal was unfortunately run out. 

Commentators Sanjay Manjrekar and Deep Dasgupta do not agree with the way Jaiswal was run out. 

Both have different opinions. Some defended Jaiswal while some criticized him. 

On the third day of the 5-match series, the responsibility of the Indian team's batting will now be on the shoulders of Pant and Jadeja. 

This Test match going on at the Melbourne Cricket Ground is very important for India in terms of the WTC final. India still need to score 111 runs to avoid follow-on while they have 5 wickets left.
