Microsoft Crashed. Effects Flights, Banking, Stock Exchange Worldwide

There is panic all over the world due to Microsoft Outage. Its effect is being seen on everything from flights to banking services and stock exchange. 

The reason for this outage is being said to be a configuration change, due to which the services of Microsoft 365 have been affected. 

CrowdStrike is said to be playing a big role in this outage , due to an update of which this entire problem started. CrowdStrike is an American cyber security firm that works with Microsoft. 

Due to this, Microsoft services in Australia, America and other regions of the world have been affected. 

CrowdStrike is a cybersecurity firm that helps companies keep their IT environment secure. In simple words, CrowdStrike helps companies keep whatever work they do using the internet safe from hackers. 

Its main job is to protect companies from hackers, cyber attacks, ransomware and data leaks. This is the reason why the major customers of this company are big banks, universities and government agencies around the world. There has been a lot of change in the cyber world in recent times. Due to the increasing attacks by hackers, the dependence of companies on firms like CrowdStrike has increased. 

One of the major products of this company is CrowdStrike Falcon. According to the company, CrowdStrike Falcon gives real-time cyber attack information to users. Along with this, it offers hyper accurate detection and automatic protection. 

This product is used by thousands of companies. It is believed that Microsoft's services have been affected worldwide due to a crash in their servers on Friday. Earlier this week, CrowdStrike released an update for its Falcon product. 

This company was founded in 2012 by former McAfee employee George Kurtz. It does not have a single owner, but consists of many individual investors, institutions and retail investors. A stock is divided into two major investor categories. 

Microsoft's servers have been facing a technical glitch since Friday morning, which has affected airlines, TV telecasts, banking and many corporate companies around the world. 

Regarding Microsoft's server down, India's Union Minister of India Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the IT Ministry is in touch with Microsoft regarding the global outage.

Ashwini Vaishnav informed that the global outage has not affected the NIC network. Ashwini Vaishnaw shared a post related to this on social media.

He wrote in his post that the cause of this outage has been identified and updates have been released to resolve the problem.

A technical advisory has been issued by CERT regarding this outage. MeitY is also in touch with Microsoft and its partners regarding the global outage.

Meanwhile, CERT-In has issued an advisory on the Microsoft outage due to the CrowdStrike update and described it as "serious".
