Modi Traveled Bullet Train In Japan With PM Ishiba. This Train To Run Between Mumbai-Ahmedabad

On the second day of his Japan visit, PM Modi reached Sendai in Miyagi province to see the advanced E10 coach of the bullet train. Japan's PM Shigeru Ishiba was also present with him here.
Both the leaders also travelled in the train coach. During this, the Japanese PM also met the loco pilots of India. Japan's Eastern Railway is training them. They will drive the bullet trains running in India.
E10 bullet train will be ready by 2030. This train will be ready by 2030. Its top speed will be 400 km/h. Japan and India are preparing to launch this advanced bullet train together.
In India, these will be run on the high-speed red corridor being built between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. According to reports, the Japanese government will also gift 2 bullet trains (E3 and E5) to India.
Modi participated in the 15th India-Japan Summit on Friday. During this, 150 agreements were signed between the two countries. The Japanese PM talked about investing Rs 6 lakh crore in India in the next 10 years.
After Japan, Modi will go to China on a two-day visit. He will attend the SCO Summit on Sunday. Apart from this, Modi will meet Chinese President Jinping and Russian President Putin
Modi met the governors of 16 provinces of Japan in Tokyo this morning. In this, emphasis was laid on promoting state-province partnership between India and Japan.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal posted on Twitter that cooperation in technology, innovation, investment, skills, startups and SMEs was discussed under the State-Province Partnership Initiative.
This initiative, launched during the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit, was described as the basis for shared progress.
India is building the country's first high-speed rail corridor between Mumbai and Ahmedabad for bullet train. Japan is helping India in this project.
In 2017, the then Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe and PM Modi started this project from Ahmedabad. Its total cost is Rs 1.08 lakh crore.
The maximum speed of the bullet train on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route will be 350 km/h. The distance between the two cities is 508 km, which will be covered in about 3 hours. Currently, it takes 5 to 8 hours to cover this distance.
