The most powerful solar storm in more than 20 years is going to hit the Earth on Saturday. America's scientific agency National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has issued a warning regarding solar storm. He has said that this can create problems for satellites. It may also pose a threat to the power grid, communication networks and electronic equipment.

According to CNN report, this solar storm will hit the Earth tonight ie Saturday and at the end of the week, which has increased the concern of the American agency. 

According to the Weather Prediction Center, such a solar storm was observed in October 2003. Since then such an astronomical event has not been seen in many years.

This geomagnetic storm has increased to extreme levels, rated 5 out of 5 by the Space Weather Prediction Center. No such solar activity has been observed since 2003. 

According to CNN, this could increase the risk of communication networks, satellite operations and high frequency radio waves. Due to this, officials including the Biden administration will have to be cautious. 

Scientists warn that an increase in radiation from the Sun and coronal mass ejections could disrupt communications on Earth. GPS systems, spacecraft and astronauts may also face problems due to this.
