Murder Cases During Left Era To Be Reopened: Tripura CM

"All the murder cases committed during the previous government will be reopened. Actions will be taken soon after looking into all the legal matters. It will not be limited to words and will be acted upon quickly."

This was said by Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha while inaugurating the Voluntary Blood Donation Camp organized at Krishnanagar in Agartala under the initiative of Yuva Morcha of Ramnagar Mandal on Saturday as part of "Seva Pakshakal" programme.

Apart from this, he also participated in another blood donation program organized at Vivekananda gymnasium adjacent to Gandhighat.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Saha said, "on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on September 17, a Seva Pakshakal program has been held. In the midst of this, 25th September is Pandit Deen Dayal Ji's birthday. And October 2 is the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Various activities have been held for this purpose. As part of this, today's blood donation camp has been organized. We already do various social activities throughout the year. Our main goal is to serve religion. It is with this aim that we work for people."

The Chief Minister said that the opposition party has no business. Movement with only 8/10 people. And say there is no rule of law in the state. They have lost people. People don't trust them now. That's why they sometimes peep. On the streets with various issues. But nothing will work. After the election they remain seated. And say this election is a farce. They do this as per routine. And before the election will say - not much longer. We are coming to the government. People are tired of seeing them. And we constantly take decisions in cabinet meetings on how to do more work for common people. We work on how to extend a helping hand to the people. Blood donation, clothing donation, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan are done regularly on behalf of the Mandal. We deliver governance to every home. I try to be by people's happiness and sadness. And there are some political parties who indulge in crimes like murder, terrorism, arson etc. They thought people had forgotten those words. How many people were killed during their time. Forgetting their own failures, they point a finger at this government and the party. But they don't know that four fingers are facing them. People understand everything. People are happy with the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking the country forward and the benefits we are getting from the double engine government.

The Chief Minister said, we really want to be with the people. The way it has rained incessantly, the flood situation all around, the rain that has fallen in three days is unprecedented in the history of Tripura. To deal with that situation, our government and party officials have all come down to the field. But then they did not even reach Tiki. And when the situation has improved, he has stepped out here and there in a white kurta. People stop them while going somewhere. Then they called the police, called me. I arrange to go. But still they say there is no democracy here. But after a few days everyone will know where democracy was during their time. When their whole history comes out. We have said that all the murders here will be reopened after the legal process is reviewed. The Chief Minister also discussed the relevance of blood donation on this day. He said, blood has no religion or caste.
