Nabannya Abhiyan: BJP Called 12 Hours Strike In WB On Wednesday

There is a ruckus in West Bengal regarding the Nabanna march of the student society.

The government has made full preparations to stop this march to be held today. Drones, water cannons, and tear gas shells have been deployed. The 'student society' has organized this march in protest against the rape and murder of a doctor in RG Kar Medical College. 'Student society' is an organization that emerged on social media a few days ago. The Mamata government has termed this march illegal and said that it has received intelligence about mischievous elements spreading unrest. At the same time, BJP leader Dilip Ghosh has accused the government of trying to save the culprits. He said that they are trying to save the culprits. That is why people are getting disappointed and protesting.
The tensed situation was seen on Tuesday in the Nabanna campaign called by 'West Bengal Chhatra Samaj' seeking justice in the RG Kar case. In addition to breaking barricades, vandalism, setting fire to bikes, several people from both sides were injured in clashes between the protestors and the police.

A total of 220 people have been arrested during the Navanna operation. 126 people have been arrested by Kolkata Police alone.

Among them 103 are male and 23 are female. The number of people arrested by the state police is 94. ADG (South Bengal) Supratim Sarkar said a total of 15 policemen were injured in the Nabanna operation.

He clarified that they have 'specific information' about the conspiracy behind this movement. Besides, he commented that although the Navanna movement was under the banner of 'West Bengal Student Society', there was no 'real student society' in this campaign.

He believes that the student society of Bengal will not do 'violent movement'. On the other hand, Governor CV Anand Bose criticized the police-administration in the night.

His claim, the police wanted to suppress the demand for justice with sticks, tear gas and water cannons. The governor also commented that the sentiments of the country have been 'insulted' by this role of the administration.

When the Nabanna Abhiyan program came to an end, the BJP announced that they are calling for a 12-hour Bengal Bandh on Wednesday. In opposition to that, the state administration from the ruling party has again informed that the public life of Bengal will be normal on Wednesday. Government offices will be open. In addition to keeping shops open, private traffic has also been requested to remain normal."

In all these incidents, 'another controversy' is brewing. How many students were among the agitators and how many were political activists and supporters is being discussed. In fact, three faces of the West Bengal student society held a press conference the day before the Navanna campaign.

Among them, several complaints were raised on behalf of the Trinamool against Shubhankar Halder, a resident of Nabadwip. There was also a case of molestation. Hearing the question, Shubhankar lost his temper. He wanted to stop the questioner by raising his finger and saying 'chop'. Also, under pressure, he admitted that he was a member of the RSS.

Shubhankar said, "RSS is the biggest social organization in the world. And I am proud as a self-sevak of the Sangh.” Subhankar's partner Sion Lahiri also admitted that at one point he was associated with the Trinamool Chhatra Parishad and later the BJP. Even though he is teaching now, he is the face of the student society. In fact, a few days ago, there was a campaign on social media that if Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee did not resign by Monday, the Navanna campaign would take place on Tuesday. And at the beginning of that operation on Tuesday, the old people who were seen in the direction of Nabanna, the political circles started commenting on the social media.

In response to the reporters' questions, someone says he is a science student. But studying commerce! Seeing an old man in a student movement, a stream of memes has also been seen on social media about how much 'Adult Education' has improved in Benga
