No DJ Culture In Durga Puja Carnival: Mayor Agartala

A review meeting was organized by the State Information and Culture Department on Sunday afternoon in view of Maayer Gaman ( Durga Puja Carnival) and Sharad Samman. 

Mayor Deepak Majumdar advised to stop the use of DJ from the meeting and present the traditions of Sanatani in the puja mandap. 

While discussing at the meeting, Mayor, Agartala Municipal Corporation Deepak Majumdar said that once Durga Puja in the state meant riots,  and murders. Now after the formation of BJP government they are not heard anymore. Durga Puja is being completed peacefully and smoothly in the state. 

He called for peace and happiness to continue this time as well
