North Tripura: Wild Bear Attacks Farmer. Died

Man was attacked by a wild bear while trying to bring paddy in Kalagang area of ​​Khedachhara police station under North Tripura District. Later he died in the hospital.

The deceased is a farmer named Rajiv Riang (45), a resident of Duganga village.

According to the police and local sources,  Rajiv Riang entered the forest to bring paddy from his land. At that time, he fell in front of a bear. The bear suddenly attacked and started biting Rajiv Riang. 

Initially, he tried to defend himself, but as the bear was quite strong, he was seriously injured.

Immediately, locals quickly rescued Rajiv and with the help of people around, he was taken to the Khedachhara Health Center.

As the Condition of injured Rajiv was very critical, he was referred to the GBP Hospital Agartala.

But, before reaching GBP Hospital he breathed his last on the way.
