Opposition INDIA Bloc MPs' Walkout Of Rajya Sabha. Stages Protest Over Budget

Wednesday (24 July) is the third day of the Monsoon Session in Parliament. During the discussion in the Rajya Sabha, the opposition staged a walkout. During the speech of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, she said, in every budget, you cannot name every state of this country. Angered by this, the opposition leaders walked out shouting slogans of shame-shame.

During the discussion, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge told Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman that Mataji is an expert. On this, Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar said that she is not Mataji, she is of the same age as your daughter.

Meanwhile, the Question Hour is going on in the Lok Sabha amid the uproar. After this, the discussion on the budget will begin. Yesterday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the first budget of the third term of the Modi government. 20 hours have been set aside for discussion on the budget.

Before the House began, INDIA MPs protested against the budget. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said - This is injustice. We will protest. 90% of the country is missing from the budget.

Congress Chief Ministers have boycotted the NITI Aayog meeting.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on the opposition's allegations of calling the budget discriminatory - This is an insulting allegation. Congress and opposition parties are deliberately trying to give a wrong impression to the people. Money or schemes were not allocated to the states.

Before the opposition walked out of the Rajya Sabha over the budget, Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge said - This budget is to save the chair. We will condemn it and protest against it.

In the Rajya Sabha, the opposition protested against discrimination in the budget. In response to which Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, in every budget, you do not get a chance to name every state of this country. The cabinet had decided to set up a port at Vadavan. But yesterday Maharashtra was not named in the budget. If a particular state is not named in the speech, does it mean that the programs of the Government of India do not go to these states? The opposition led by the Congress has spread the lie that nothing was given to our states. This is an insulting allegation. However, after this the opposition leaders walked out of the House.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, this budget is just to satisfy the allies of BJP. It has not given anything to anyone.

Before the start of the Parliament session, the MPs of INDIA Bloc have started protesting against the budget. 

The MPs say that the government has discriminated against the states in the budget. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said - this is injustice. We will protest
