India's golden boy Neeraj Chopra has made his place in the final by throwing a throw of 89.34 meters in the qualification round. 

In such a situation, Neeraj will now throw the javelin for the gold medal in the final. 

Neeraj came first in the qualification round to throw. Neeraj entered the final by throwing 89.34 in the very first throw. In this way, this star of India will defend his gold medal in the final. This throw of Neeraj was also his season best. Apart from this, he also reached close to his personal best.

Olympic 2020 gold medalist Neeraj Chopra confirmed his place in the final of the men's javelin throw event with a brilliant throw of 89.34 meters in the first attempt of Group B qualification. 

Neeraj has made a great start to defend his title by crossing the automatic qualification mark of 84 meters by a big margin in his first throw. It was also his best throw this season and the biggest throw among the players who got direct qualification for the final in all the groups. 

Neeraj, the reigning world and Asian Games champion, is yet to surpass his career best throw of 89.94 meters achieved at the Stockholm Diamond League on June 30, 2022 in Sweden
