"Partition of the country was an unfortunate chapter of the freedom struggle. "

This was said by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha at the Partition Atrocity Memorial Day program organized by the Sadar City District BJP on Wednesday. 

In the function organized at Muktdhara Auditorium, the Chief Minister also said that lakhs of innocent people have become refugees after losing their land and livelihood.

 This wound of the partition of the country has not been erased from our memories. The new generation does not know these things. They should be informed about this. 

Also, these should be discussed at home with family members. Then everyone will be aware of the horrors of this division. The chief minister also said that today's event is very significant. From this kind of event, the new generation will be able to know about the history in the coming days.
