Positive Barta's Green Mission Sparks a Silent Revolution

The grand halls of the Constitution Club of India echoed today ie on Saturday 6th September, with pride, hope and determination as Positive Barta hosted the National Awareness Conclave — not merely a celebration, but a historic milestone in India’s fight against climate change.

In just one year, an audacious dream has become reality: one crore trees planted across the country. What seemed improbable has blossomed into a silent revolution, uniting farmers tilling the soil, students brimming with energy, women entrepreneurs rewriting rural economies, and countless volunteers who turned saplings into symbols of resilience.

“This is not a statistic — it is a movement of hearts,” declared Dr. Malay Pit, founder and CEO of Positive Barta. “Each tree is a testament to our courage, compassion and commitment to the generations yet to come.”

Women at the Forefront

The conclave highlighted an extraordinary chapter: women-led seed banks, eco-businesses and community enterprises. Their leadership has not only sustained families but transformed villages into green sanctuaries. “These women are guardians of both livelihoods and nature,” Pit emphasized.

A Gathering of Visionaries

The conclave drew a rare mix of voices — Dr. Ayanjit Sen, trainer and academic; Dr. Parimal Kanti Mondal, national strategist; Shri Sandeep Verma, senior government official; Mr. Vaibhav Parashar, corporate leader; and Dr. Suresh Singhvi, healthcare pioneer. Alongside them, leading journalists like Mukesh Koushik, S.H. Shams, Biswendu Bhattacharjee and Arti Rai reminded the nation of media’s role in shaping public will on climate change.

Their collective message was crystal clear, the climate crisis can only be defeated by uniting governance, academia, industry, healthcare, and citizens in one common purpose.

Beyond Trees: A People’s Awakening

Thousands of young volunteers narrated stories that turned the gathering into an emotional celebration. “Planting my first sapling felt like a prayer,” said one student, eyes gleaming with hope. “Watching it grow reminds me that I am part of something far bigger than myself.”

The Road Ahead

The conclave did not end with applause. It ended with a call. Positive Barta announced an expansion of the Green Mission — a vision to inspire schools, institutions and new communities to create a self-sustaining cycle of ecological renewal.

The Extraordinary Takeaway

This was not just an event. It was a tribute to millions of ordinary Indians whose hands turned soil, whose courage nurtured saplings, and whose hope is now reshaping India’s future.

In a time of ecological imbalance, the conclave delivered a resounding truth: the power to heal the planet lies not in policies alone, but in the collective heartbeat of its people.

The message was loud and clear that every sapling is no longer just a tree.

It is a promise. A prayer. A revolution in green.
