Pradyot Fooling People. We Oppose CAA. To Place Deputation to CS: Tripura Congress

Tripura Pradesh Congress protests the implementation of CAA. Addressing a press conference Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman said:

The central government has already issued a notification to implement the Citizenship Amendment Act i.e. CAA across the country. The caste census will change if Indian citizenship is granted on the application of citizens of neighboring states. Then they will put their share in everything including jobs, GDP, which the people of Tripura will not accept in any way. 

So Tripura state Congress, to place a deputation  to the Chief Secretary of the state opposing the CAA. 

Government is implementing CAA across the country only to win votes. CAA will not be applicable in ADC areas of Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram, the central government said in a notification. But, Tripura is not out of ADC.

Pradyot Kishore Debbarman , former supremo of Tipra Matha, during the main opposition party in the state, strongly opposed the implementation of the CAA. At the time, he had claimed that the implementation of CAA in northeastern states would exacerbate the problem. But today he is posting about CAA on social media to fool people.

The caste census will change if the citizens of neighboring states are given Indian citizenship under the CAA Act. Democracy will change when millions of people in Tripura are given Indian citizenship. The incoming citizens will then have their share in everything including jobs, GDP, which the people of Tripura will not accept in any way. Because, various villages of the state are suffering from lack of work, food, drinking water, electricity, irrigation, infrastructural development.
