Preparation Completed For Counting on May 4: West Tripura Election Returning Officer

West Tripura District Magistrate and  Returning Officer of West Tripura Parliamentary Constituency Dr Vishal Kumar  visited the counting center at Umakanta Academy in Agartala on Saturday.

Speaking with the press he informed that

Three-tiered security arrangements have been made at polling stations on the day of counting.

The counting of votes for Lok Sabha elections will be held at Agartala Umakant Academy on June 4. All kinds of security measures have been taken around the calculation. Also talked to various political parties. They are training counting agents. 

150 to 170 counting agents of a political party can be present at the polling station. It is seen that on the day of counting of votes, there will be around 1000 counting agents of 9 candidates of West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency.

Moreover, training of Counting Supervisors and Counting Assessment, Micro Observers has been completed in all Sub-Divisions. The EVM machines have been kept under tight security.
