President Joe Biden Not Stepping Down: White House

US President Joe Biden lost to his rival Donald Trump in last week's debate. He is not considering withdrawing from the election race after his poor performance in the debate. 

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed on Wednesday that Biden remains in the election race. 

Let us tell you that the presidential election is to be held in America on November 5. Before the election, the first presidential debate took place between 81-year-old Biden and Trump last week, in which Biden performed poorly. 

Due to this, there is constant pressure on Biden to withdraw from the presidential race. Biden is increasingly receiving calls from Democratic Party leaders and editorial boards of mainstream American media to withdraw from the presidential race and lead others in the party in the November 5 elections. Biden has so far resisted these calls. 

During a press conference with White House Press Secretary Karin, reporters asked whether President Biden was considering withdrawing from the race? To this, Karin replied, absolutely not. After this, she was asked whether Biden should not step down, given the deep concern of fellow Democrats, donors, supporters. To this, Jean-Pierre said, he understands that it is appropriate for people to ask this question, but we cannot forget his record. We cannot forget how he has been able to work for the American people for almost four years.

Jean-Pierre had difficulty defending the President's statement in which he blamed his foreign trips to Europe for his poor performance in the presidential debate against Trump in Atlanta last week. In response to the question whether there is any talk that if the President has to suspend his campaign, he will also resign. In response to this, he said absolutely not
