Rahul Dravid Casts His Vote In Chappal. Appeals To All To Cast Vote

Voting for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 is took place today i.e. on 26th April. What is common and what is special, everyone is seen standing in queue to cast their vote. 

Meanwhile, legends of cricket world were also seen in this queue. Indian Cricket Team head coach Rahul Dravid was seen in the queue to cast his vote. Anil Kumble was also seen casting his vote.

Cricket icon Rahul Dravid cast his vote in Bengaluru on Friday morning. He was among the early voters of Bengaluru and cast his vote in Dollars Colony.

Dravid was seen standing in a queue in normal dress and chappal with other common voters to cast his vote at a polling booth.

When head coach Rahul Dravid came out of the polling booth after casting his vote, he talked to the media. 

In this conversation he also appealed to the people to cast their vote. He said- "Voting went smoothly, and the process was very simple. It is important for us to take our democracy forward and I request everyone to come out and vote."

Dravid also said that he is expecting a big voter turnout this time in the tech capital. "I am expecting more voter turnout in Bengaluru this time. There are so many first-time voters too, and everyone should use their polling booth. If young boys and girls come and cast their vote, it will be great ."


Former Indian captain Anil Kumble also came to cast his vote with his wife and shared a picture on his X handle.
