He did not get success at that time. Now he has won the title as a coach in the West Indies. After the success of the T20 World Cup, the demand for Dravid has increased a lot. It is believed that he is going to make a comeback in the IPL.

According to the Times of India report, Rahul Dravid may return to Rajasthan Royals as the head coach. He was associated with this team for a long time as captain.

After that Dravid was also the mentor of the team. According to the report, talks are going on between Rajasthan Royals and Dravid, and an announcement may be made soon in this regard.

51-year-old Dravid has had a long association with Rajasthan Royals. Under his captaincy, the team reached the final of the Champions League T20 in 2013. Apart from this, he took the team to the playoffs of IPL. After this, he played the role of mentor in 2014 and 2015. Then the team finished third in the points table.

Dravid has been associated with the BCCI since 2015. First as the head coach of India Under-19 and India A teams, then as the president at the NCA and finally as the head coach of the senior team from October 2021.

It is not clear whether the franchise will retain Kumar Sangakkara. He has been the Royals' director of cricket since 2021. It is not clear whether he will continue as director or will be out after Dravid's arrival
