Reform UK Overtakes Ruling Rishi Sunak's Party in Opinion Poll

Elections are scheduled to be held in Britain on July 4. In an opinion poll released on Thursday before this election, Nigel Farage's Reform UK party left Rishi Sunak's Conservative Party behind.

According to the opinion poll of local media, Reform UK got 19 percent votes, while the Conservative Party got 18 percent. At the same time, the Labor Party topped with 37 percent votes. According to this opinion poll, Sunak's Conservative Party is in third place.

This survey was conducted on June 12-13, in which 2,211 people participated. Nigel Farage posted on the social media platform X, saying, "This is a turning point. Only the Conservative vote is going to be wasted here. We are challenging the Labor Party."

Farage is known for his successful campaign to take Britain out of the European Union.

Let us tell you that this small right-wing party was founded in 2018 as the Brexit Party. The party supported issues like strict immigration laws.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's party has suffered a major setback after he left the D-Day commemoration event before other world leaders. In other opinion polls, the Conservative Party is being shown ahead of Reform. Despite leaving the Conservative Party behind in the opinion poll released on Thursday, there are many parliamentary seats where Reform is not expected to win.

Reform's support is spread across the country, while the support of the Conservative and Labor parties is more in geographical areas.
